This high-performance epoxy primer penetrates deeply, displaces and combines with oil contaminated surfaces to provides a glossy, durable finish that’s ready in a day.
Before applying our OT-760 Oil Tolerant Epoxy Primer, remove any peeling or flaking old paint and lightly sand the surface to create a rough texture for better adhesion. For the best results when prepping for a floor coating, use mechanical methods like shot-blasting or grinding. If that’s not an option, sanding or our DIY Epoxy Etch and Clean solution will help. Once the surface is prepped, sweep and vacuum thoroughly to remove all dust and debris.
When the surface is heavily contaminated with oil, we recommend using a strong commercial grade degreaser prior to any sanding or floor grinding.
